Truthfully, "Landmarks of London" changed my life.
When I moved back to the UK, everything in my life was in flux, and my art really just slipped away. After I had stopped painting for almost two years, someone in my life pushed me to paint again. Something that was just for me.
In my mind, London represented freedom and opportunity. It was a place where I could be me, and I longed for that. It's also a place of extraordinary and intricate architecture. I wanted to represent that complexity while also showcasing its beauty. I spent weeks going over every landmark to ensure I had painted enough fine detail that you could look at it one hundred times and still manage to find some new quirk of the buildings.
The response to it was amazing, and it made me realize I needed art back in my life. And that's the point where I gained enough confidence to start building my new art business. I'm a full time artist today because of this piece.
So I offer it back to you as a reminder that the best is yet to come, and that sometimes it only takes one small action to transform your life for the better.
